1. Communication Skills
Communication skills don’t really mean that you need to be well versed in the English Language. It doesn’t matter what you say but how you say it. Organizations look for candidates who are able to express what they are thinking in their minds and make the opponent understand it clearly.
If you’re good with your communication skills then you have passed 55% of your Interview successfully.
2. Body Language
Mind the way you shake your hands, sit down or maintain eye contact with the interviewer. A sweaty palm, a peal of nervous laughter, and a rocky chair says a lot about even before you start talking about yourself
Have a firm handshake – neither strong, neither weak with the interviewer. Maintaining good eye contact with the interviewer will say that you are a confident candidate but starring will say otherwise. Practice the way you introduce yourself to avoid such situations.
3. Never lie
Being honest is the only way to get through an interview. If you do not know the answer to a question, it is better that you be upfront rather than trying to make up something. But, this cannot be a repeated thing as this might be fatal for your reputation.
4. Leadership Skills
When you’re an experienced professional, this will be the skill you need to work on. Having work experience will be an add-on but it will not make you an eligible candidate. Understanding the skills that are required to be a good leader and practicing them in your existing job will make your recruitment easier
